Your tank in your smart home

Home Assistant supports MyPropane above-ground and underground tank monitors through its CentriConnect/MyPropane integration.

  • Display tank percentage, estimated remaining volume, and tank size.
  • Check alert status, battery percentage, LTE signal level, and solar level.

Before you connect

Register your monitor in MyPropane, then open Settings → Integration in the app to access:

  • Device ID
  • Device Authentication Code
  • User ID

Add the integration

  1. Open Home Assistant and go to Settings → Devices & services.
  2. Select Add Integration and find CentriConnect/MyPropane.
  3. Follow the prompts using your device and account details.
Open the official setup guide →

Understand data updates

Home Assistant checks the API every six hours; faster polling is not configurable. Centri devices report 4–6 times per day, and API requests are limited to once per device per hour. Home Assistant’s polling interval is within that limit.

See the official guide for optional sensors and troubleshooting.
